You'll know about Arabians, Irish Hunters, Donkeys, Xanthos and maybe even the fantastical, 8-legged Sleipnirs. But did you know that another Divine horse exists on Howrse? There is only one. It is completely unique. It's called 'Cowbra' and you can see it in the picture.So what is it? Where did it come from and will there be any more?
Simply, it was a gift from Howrse to one lucky player - Michiba. During Christmas 2008/9, Howrse sold card packs to players. In just one of these packs (a Freyia pack) was a code which gave the recipient a very, very special horse - Cowbra.
Cowbra can never breed and, more importantly, it can never be sold. Even if the owner wanted to do so - Cowbra will be with her for ever.
When he arrived, he was 673 years old with 2000 skills! He can actually be trained (just with rides) and has now reached an incredible 2031.61 skills!
So there it is. Cowbra - unique, fasciniating and truly Divine.

ReplyDeleteWhy doesn't Howrse let each player create their own divine horse? You could only go up to 3000 skills, though. You could customize the name, coat, gender, pose, special thing ( Like Xantho's strokes), ANYTHING!!! It would have to be free.... and it could breed with another specially created divine, and the foal would be a mixture of the parents! No 2 would be exactly alike!!!

I really want a divine! I wish we could make our own! That way it would be the only one of it's kind and we would maybe feel more special! The rankings for popularity would also go up becuase everyone would like to see your new divine!!!

ReplyDeleteGo on profile, my account, and then on the my cards button. If you look at the Cowbra set, the rarest card gets you a... Cowbra. I'm not sure if you can, get one, I have not tried it, but from a glance it looks like you can.
I want a Cowbra so bad! It's hard for us lesser players to get divines! All the players will tonsof passes, equess, and real money get the divines!

ReplyDeleteI think it's good that you can't breed most special/divine horses. That would make them less rare, therefor, less popular. Most people want a rare/divine horse because they're hard to get. That's like wanting Unicorns to be as easy to breed as regular horses.

ReplyDeleteAnyone who thinks that you should make your own divine horse really doesn't understand that by do that you lessen the value of the original divine horses. All the top players spent a lot of time and money to get where they are at and it really irks them to hear you younger and newer players complaining that you don't have the money or you didn't get what you wanted. Stop your whining and play the correct way. Rank up through hard work not begging. If you don't want to play fair then get off the game!

ReplyDeleteIf you could breed with them then there would be loads, and they wouldn't be rare anymore! What's the point of having special divine horses if everyone can get them? They're SUPPOSED to be difficult to gain, and are usually a sign of hard work (Or hefty pass bills)

ReplyDelete2000 skills? That's not even very high anymore. There are skillers out with almost 3400 skills now. Maybe it's better that Cowbra got deleted before he could be steamrollered by the new skillers. :'(
ReplyDeleteWhen Cowbra got released the GP race hadn't got anywhere near as far as it has now. On the UK server the best GP is 1400 something I think. So that is why the skills were amazing, nothing was anywhere near as good as it.

ReplyDeleteI think that was very unfair and rude. Michiba got lucky and won one of the rarest divines ever. It's just like being chrissyh being first and getting bullied for being dedicated to the game and spending passes, therefore earning Howrse profit. I'm a newbie (at least in days of seniority), but I know that getting divines take lots of effort. I'm ashamed of others (those who don't understand hard work) thinking that divines should be given to everyone, regardless of what they contributed to the site. If you want a divine, you should be patient and try your best at the promos that Howrse makes. I have seen players who have received a Divine WITHOUT buying passes at all. The point- hard work pays off.
Cowbra doesn't exsist anymore because the owner left howrse :(. Also I am Allegiant Tris on international and i am giving away 100,000e in my forum. Plz friend me. :)

ReplyDeleteThe thing was that there was ONLY one cowbra. It was something special. To those people at the top, breeding it didn't even matter. At that time 2000 skills was A LOT and besides, its not like when Howrse gives out divines and there's like a million Sleipnirs running around. I would have loved to be the player who got the Cowbra.
