As we write, there are 5 hours to go on the most amazing sale we've seen on Howrse. A Sleipnir is for sale in the auctions. The current price for this eight-legged, Divine horse is 6 million equus! The highest price we've seen a Sleipnir sell for previously was around 4.5 million equus.
Admittedly, it's a fire Sleipnir which are the most sought after, but this is still an immense amount of equus to pay for a horse - however rare and special.
So LucyLou and Patsy will be glued to their PC's (well, one PC and one Mac actually)as the auction reaches it's climax.
We'll post the final figure this 'mega' Sleipnir sells for, soon. Oh and if you want to buy one - start saving. Now!

ReplyDeleteSleipnirs were produced as adults only. And as they cannot breed, baby Sleipnirs don't exist. Shame really, I bet a Sleipnir foal would look really cute!

You have to own a Sleipnir to be able to invoke one.
ReplyDeleteIf another player's Sleipnir runs away because their owner doesn't look after it a button will appear on another Sleipnir's page. If the owner clicks it they 'invoke' the Sleipnir and become the new owner.

ReplyDeletehorseegirl22, you'll see we've found a screenshot for you. You'll notice that 'invoke' is not spelt quite correctly. However, this is quite an old screenshot so it may have changed slightly. I'm pretty sure that the button is still located in the bottom right of the Sleipnir's page.

ReplyDeleteAnd secondly, we're not actually Howrse - just two players trying to help other players. So if you want to complain to Howrse about this issue you need to try contacting them, rather than shouting at us.
Um, what does Invoque a Slepinr do?

Good thing they can't run away anymore. Players who go on vacation would be sad to see such a rare horse suddenly vanish. It just seemed unfair. xP
