The fourms on Howrse are all fine and good. However it's often quite difficult to get yourself heard without some players telling you what you should or shouldn't be asking or even having your question closed by a Moderator.
Of course the rules and regulations are there for a reason, but we feel that sometimes good questions just get shouted down. So we would like to invite you, the lovely readers of Ultimate Howrse to send us your questions or thoughts.
If you have any questions about the game; anything you don't understand, any tips you'd like us to write about or maybe a wonderful idea you'd like to share - you can email us. But before you fire off that email, remember - we want reasonable, relevant and polite messages from you. OK? Alright then - here's the email address: ultimatehowrse@me.com.
We really want to involve you, the Howrse player and we want to help as many people as we can. But don't feel ignored if we haven't have time to reply to you personally as we expect to receive plenty of messages. We promise to read all your emails though and act upon as many suggestions and comments as we can.
After all - we all love Howrse don't we?

Some help with designing the actual dressage courses would be invaluable as they do not equate to real life dressage courses.
ReplyDeleteThe best way to design your course seems to be to add a 'change of lead' between each of the other elements you choose. This leads to a harder course. Again, if you want the top course use things like piaffes, leg-yielding and cantering elements. The walk and trot elements give much easier courses.
ReplyDeleteI hope this helps,
Lucy
From this, I now feel like I may yet become involved with the aspecs of Howrse. It is unusual of me to be in the forums, much less post in them. I feel as though I'm allowing myself to be poked and prodded by all other players in the forums, thus I go on without speaking my questions or opinions. This is something that will be vaulable in learning the back stories on all the events and changes.
ReplyDeleteThank-you.
How to get free passes?
ReplyDeleteHow do i get dree passes?
ReplyDeletehow do you get to secret page no.2?
ReplyDeletegolcevi - you can get 'free' passes in several ways:
ReplyDelete- you get a free pass for every 5 karma points you earn
- you can buy a pass with 20% of your breeders' reserve every 30 days
- you get a pass if you send a horse over the age of 30 (not immortal) to heaven
- if you own a Croesus he will give you a pass on the 13th of every month (2 if it's a Friday!)
- you can grow a pass in one of your EC meadows using pass seeds from the EC shop (very rarely available)
Our post here: http://ultimatehowrse.blogspot.com/2010/11/secret-page-no-2-objective-73.html tells you how to get to Secret Page number 2.
ReplyDeleteI was just curious, who owned the first unicorn on howrse?
ReplyDeleteWe don't actually know who owned the first Unicorns in the game. However, when Howrse introuduced them, they gave six Unicorns of each breed to each of the top players in all of the rankings. So each of the top players got one Unicorn each. Three males and three females were given out.

how to do the objective 7 i just dont understand it my other ones are on like 27 or 29 but cant pass 7 >.<
ReplyDeleteObjective 7 is to 'offer a covering with one of your stallions'.
ReplyDeleteYou need to fo to one of your male horses (over the age of 2 and 1/2) and the click the button at the bottom of their page entitled 'covering'. Choose a price, select 'public' and then press confirm.
Your stallion will now be offering a covering out to other players' mares and you will pass your objective!

how do you know that your friends are online?
ReplyDeleteHi nikoll,
ReplyDeleteIf you look at your friends' pages, at the top just under their name there is a box with their ranking, number of days registered etc. Under their ranking it says 'recently connected'. If your friend is online it will say 'yes'. If they're not online it will say 'secret'.
Also, if you go to your friends list and look next to your friends' names it will tell you how long ago their last visit was in minutes/hours/days.

How do you do objective 53? The "Send a horse to heaven? I sent one to safe haven are they different places beacuse I'm not getting my reward?
ReplyDeleteThe Safe Haven is not the same as Heaven.
ReplyDeleteTo send a horse to Heaven you need to let it die and then click on the button that appears and says 'send my horse to heaven'.

Lucy,
ReplyDeleteDo you have a very specific order for which elements of the dressage course? I have spent hours attempting to make my dressage course harder but can't get beyond 473. I see other courses with harder skills, but I can't seem to find the right combination. Currently my course looks like this:
Change of Lead
Leg Yielding
Change of Lead
Leg Yielding
Change of Lead
Leg Yielding
Passage
Extended Canter
Extended Trot
Leg Yielding
I went through and clicked each element as the beginning element to find out how many points it gives and used the highest ones all mixed up to get where I'm at but need help advancing from here.
Thank you!
Hello,
ReplyDeleteI have to say I haven't entirely figured out the dressage course yet but I will help you the best I can!
Mine is currently set to 479 with:
Extended canter
Change of lead
Collected canter
Change of lead
Passage
Change of lead
Piaffe
Change of lead
Half-pass
Leg yielding
I will keep trying to find a better combination and will write back with the results.
Lucy
Lucy,
ReplyDeleteDo you have any course specifics for Show Jumping and Cross Country? Mine are stuck in the 450's
Thank you :)
Hey, I'm on Australian Howrse as NullaMyHorse, I have gotten to 521% with:
ReplyDeleteExtended Walk
Leg Yield
Passage
Change of Lead
Extended Canter
Extended Trot
Extended Walk
Collected Canter
Leg Yield
Piaffe
Hope that helps someone
If you copy the same course as above (NullaMyHorse), but change the Piaffe at the end to a Spanish Walk. It put me at 602%
